Energy Management E-news

FROM THE EDITOR:

Dear readers:

This week, CanSIA (Canadian Solar Industries Association) hosted its annual Solar Canada Conference and Exposition. By all accounts, Solar Canada 2010 was two, maybe three times larger than last year’s gathering, which shows the growing importance of renewables in Canada. The event featured a maze of exhibits and some excellent sessions, with topics ranging from solar and agriculture to Ontario’s Feed-in Tariff (FIT) program. One of the more important themes of Solar Canada 2010 was the greater need for standardized solar PV installer training.

To mark the occasion, I’ve included two features dealing with solar: the first shows how one company has successful added solar, while the second deals with the issue of solar PV installer training.

As always, if you have any stories, news, products, videos, etc., you would like to share with our readers, please forward them to me. I look forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely,

John Gilson
