April 10, 2012 - The Building Commissioning Association (BCA) has named Liz Fischer as executive director, bringing with her 23 years of experience in the energy efficiency industry. Fischer has acted as association manager since 2005.
“I am personally very excited to have Liz Fisher joining the BCA as our full time executive director,” said Mark Miller, president of the International Board of Directors. “Her leadership skills, knowledge of the commissioning and energy industry and relationships with key stakeholders will be invaluable in helping the BCA continue to grow, advance the commissioning industry and make buildings reach their performance potential.”
According to BCA, her knowledge spans beyond the built environment and includes in-depth experience in training and education. She has also led the production of the National Conference on Building Commissioning, as well as the creation of a training program for commissioning authorities and energy auditors.
