Durham Partners in Project Green will engage businesses on a number of levels around sustainability, including a “major focus on energy efficiency” and cost reductions. Some of the program elements include:

Eco-Efficiency Program: free assistance in identifying and implementing energy conservation opportunities and accessing financial incentives.

Green Purchasing Alliance: assistance in connecting to energy-efficient building technologies at a lower cost.

Training: around conservation and broader sustainability opportunities.

Networking: access to a number of tools that will connect local sustainable business leaders and help them learn from each other.

Beyond helping local companies green their bottom lines, DPPG also aims to build a local network of sustainable solutions providers. To help with this, local companies with green products and/or services can list their services on the DPPG Green Vendor Directory, or apply to be put on the Eco-Efficiency Consultant Roster and receive referrals to local companies.
