Lennox reveals Dave Lennox pumps, SunSource system, new VRF

March 23, 2015 - Heating and air conditioning systems provider Lennox revealed an array of enhanced technology early this year at the 2015 AHR Expo in Chicago, including new VRF technology featuring indoor, outdoor units and controls; the Dave Lennox Signature Collection XC 25/XP 25 AC/heat pumps; and the SunSource Commercial Energy System.

Lennox VRF (variable refrigerant flow) technology offers systems with independent temperature control that “require less space, energy and structural modification than competing systems,” said the company. Widely used throughout Europe and Asia, Lennox claims VRF technology is expected to show double-digit growth rates over the next five years.

The Dave Lennox Signature Collection XC25/XP25 offers Precise Comfort technology that maintains a consistent temperature by making tiny, ongoing adjustments to its output throughout the day. SilentComfor technology makes the XC25 up to 50% quieter than a standard air conditioner, said Lennox.

The SunSource Commercial Energy System is “the industry’s first and only solution to integrate directly with solar power,” said Lennox. The system works exclusively with Lennox’s Energence premium rooftop unit product line to provide “effective efficiency levels of up to 34 SEER, 43 IEER” and more.
