September 24, 2015 - Calling all lighting design professionals and students from across the world: Hubbell Lighting wants your best ideas.

September 24, 2015  By  Renée Francoeur

The company just launched the 2015 LitePro DLX Design Competition, “to challenge the design community to create lighting brilliance”.

According to Hubbell, its LitePro DLX allows lighting professionals and students to create lighting design proposals in a “flexible, comprehensive and visually stunning fashion”. The platform also creates a network for designers all over the world, it added.

Entrants are encouraged to demonstrate how the LitePro DLX platform allows architecture to be seen and experienced through lighting design. Both simulated and existing building designs are permitted. Use of indoor and outdoor spaces, with the inclusion of objects, furniture and textures, are recommended. In addition, wall material should show degree of reflectance.

A panel of lighting and design professionals will judge all entries that meet the competition requirements. Winners in both student and industry professional categories will receive a stainless steel Apple Watch or iPad Air 2; runner-ups will win an Apple Watch Sport or iPad Mini.

All submissions must be received by December 1, 2015 and can be sent to hlimarketing@hubbell-ltg.com. Full rules are available at www.hubbelllighting.com/liteprodlx.
