Sponsored by the local electrical utilities in Cambridge, Kitchener and Waterloo, the full-day event promises to elevate attendees’ understanding of energy efficiency and inspire corporate leaders to make a change in their organizations.

“The main purpose of the Symposium is to help businesses figure out ways to intelligently manage their electricity load, reduce their demand and, ultimately, save energy and money,” said Sarah Colvin of Cambridge and North Dumfries Hydro Inc.

Located at the Bingemans Conference Centre (Marshall Hall), workshops will be offered throughout the day-long event on a number of topics, including LED lighting, compressed air systems, HVAC and refrigeration. An interactive panel discussion will profile the experiences of two local businesses, who reps will discuss the insights, challenges and opportunities they faced while implementing energy efficiency solutions in their business practices.
