Every year, Efficiency Nova Scotia says it speaks to Nova Scotians about how to save energy and money on their power bills during a summer tour. The tour is expected to make 25 stops this year; the first took place this past weekend at Liverpool’s Privateer Days.

Along for the ride this season is an interactive energy-efficient game called “Spot it!” The game features multiple levels for kids to go through, finding ways to be energy-efficient at home, according to the organization.

“Nova Scotians are leading by example when it comes to energy efficiency, and understand that it is the cheapest, easiest way to lower your power bill,” said Amelia Warren, manager of education, outreach and communications at Efficiency Nova Scotia. “Most people who stop by and see us on our summer tour just need help getting started, and with our programs, services and educational resources, we are able to give them cost-effective solutions.”
