FROM THE EDITOR: Dear readers: Green building and LEED are the themes of this e-newsletter, a good focus considering that the Canada Green Building Council (CaGBC) is holding its 3rd Annual National Conference in Vancouver. Below, you will find news on the 3-day event, including information on the Vancouver Convention Centre, a spectacular building that was recently awarded LEED Platinum certification. You will also find a column by Stephen Carpenter, the president of Enermodal, about changes and new requirements to the Canada LEED rating system.
