Energy Management E-news

FROM THE EDITOR:

Dear readers:

For this EM e-newsletter edition, you'll find a feature about the critical role surge suppression devices can play in protecting facilities from unpredictable surges. For this story, I talked with Total Protection Services (TPS) Canada's John Shamess, who gave valuable advice on how companies can save money with quality surge suppression devices, as well as protect their sensitive (and often expensive) equipment from damage.

In addition, you'll find news items about the opening of Walmart's Balzac facility, the company's first sustainable distribution centre in Canada, as well as information about two new incentive programs: the Ontario Clean Energy Benefit (OCEB), and Green-Eats, an energy incentive for Toronto restaurants. In the future, stay tuned for more information on Walmart and that company's sustainability initiatives.

Lastly, if you have any story ideas or wish to submit an article, please don't hesitate to contact me. Energy Management also makes use of videos, so if you have any informing videos that you'd like to share, please do.

Sincerely,

John Gilson
