Airside efficiency platform found in NRC Saskatoon retrofit
June 14, 2017 - Aircuity—a maker of smart automated airside solutions—reports its airside efficiency platform has been included in a Saskatoon retrofit project by the National Research Council of Canada (NRC).

Photo courtesy Aircuity “Over the last decade, airside efficiency has proved to be the biggest single energy efficiency conservation measure available for laboratory spaces,” said Dan Diehl, Aircuity CEO.
The NRC building employs two Aircuity Sensor Suites (SSTs) in its laboratory spaces and one SST for exhaust fan control.
“Implementing energy retrofit projects in a lab environment is challenging,” explained NRC’s Mark Newman. “But these same challenges also present the NRC with significant opportunities to conserve energy, reduce its environmental footprint and yield substantial savings on operating costs.”
Aircuity says its demand control solution optimizes ventilation rates through patented technology.
