Automated portfolio creation and management in RETScreen Version 9

January 10, 2023 – A new automated portfolio creation and management tool for portfolio-wide feasibility analysis, performance analysis (M&V), GHG reporting, etc., is available in Version 9 of the RETScreen Clean Energy Management Software platform.

“The tool includes setting baseline (using the Performance tracker), importing archetypes from the Virtual Energy Analyzer (VEA), setting degree-days, automatically creating regression analysis, creating Predicted-Actual summaries, and the ability to create custom dashboards across the portfolio of facilities,” reports Gregory Leng, creator of the RETScreen Clean Energy Management Software platform.

The tool also has a RETScreen Connect feature to allow the automatic creation of an entirely new portfolio and to update existing portfolios, Leng continues, using direct connectors to data from EnergyCAP, MeterConnex (QMC) and Eyedro, “with more to be added over time”.

RETScreen Expert is a comprehensive Clean Energy Management Software platform that enables professionals and decision-makers to identify and assess the viability of potential energy efficiency, renewable energy and co-generation projects. It is also used to measure and verify the actual and ongoing energy performance of buildings, factories and power plants around the world.
