April 16, 2019 – Dow and DuPont have integrated their energy-saving construction materials—including Tyvek and Styrofoam extruded polystyrene (XPS)—under the new DuPont Performance Building Solutions (PBS) brand.

Facility managers can deploy Tyvek and Styrofoam together to enhance the building envelope. Insulation, permeable weather-resistive barriers, flashing, tapes and spray foams can also be used in different combinations to improve energy efficiency.

Among PBS products are: Froth-Pak foam sealant, which fills gaps to eliminated unwanted airflow; Thermax insulation; Tyvek DrainVent rain screens; Great Stuff insulating foam sealants, formulated to seal cracks to block moisture; and Tyvek Protec roofing underlayments.
