Cerus Industrial unveils MCS for 2-speed motors

May 9, 2012 - Cerus Industrial, a manufacturer of intelligent motor starters for HVAC systems, has developed the multi-contactor starter (MCS) designed to control two speed, two winding, and two speed, one winding re-connectable motors. The starter has a built in timer and control functions that reduce the number of separate components needed for the typical installation, simplifying wiring and improving system reliability, explains the company. It also features a class 5-30 electronic overload and wide range voltage operation (120 to 480 VAC) for different applications.
