Douglas Lighting Controls, a subsidiary of Panasonic Lighting Americas based in Burnaby, B.C., has launched the CheckLight cloud-based energy management platform for integration with its centralized, distributed and wireless systems.

CheckLight monitors energy use and can report data through its own dashboard or share it through application programming interfaces (APIs) compatible with building management systems (BMSs). Users can securely access and adjust their facility’s lighting brightness and other settings from any location, so as to optimize cost savings based on consumption.

Douglas is now updating its Bluetooth wireless systems and Dialog centralized and room controllers to be compatible with CheckLight.
