Eaton Power Xpert Multi-Point meter tracks energy use

August 13, 2013 - Eaton says its new series of sub meters will provide property managers and building owners with a reliable, cost-effective solution for quantifying, benchmarking and allocating energy use. Designed for use in multi-tenant applications, the meter can integrate into a local network to enable remote meter reading and monitoring. Visual indicators on the metering hardware and accompanying software provide advanced warning of potential problems before they can impact building performance, says Eaton. A single device can handle up to 20 three-phase or 60 single-phase circuits and is compatible with most three-phase industrial, commercial, and single-phase residential low-voltage electrical power systems.
