Cree XSPR LED promises 65% less energy use
September 26, 2013 - The new Cree XSPR LED residential street light, designed for replacing high-pressure sodium (HPS) fixtures up to 100W, claims to use 65% less energy while delivering better light quality and payback in less than one year. Available in the 25W and 42W versions, the street light features NanoOptic Precision Delivery Grid optic technology which claims to achieve better optical control than traditional street lighting fixtures.
