Wireless connection and communication capabilities through the built-in SIM card are the star features of this new product. These capabilities offer diagnostic device monitoring, troubleshooting and remote feature modification through the manufacturer’s online portal, making the dryer ideal for property and facility managers, Dimplex says.

The SIM card uses a wireless broadband connection to communicate with an online portal via encoded SMS. The iBlast not only eliminates the cost of a diagnosis appointment, Dimplex explains, but also the down-time of the unit in the event of a fault.

An infrared sensor will cut-out automatically at specified time limits to reduce energy costs as well. The product also features a 725W resistance coil and universal voltage of 115-230VAC (50/60Hz).
