DowDuPont opens extruded polystyrene insulation facility
August 27, 2018 — The speciality products division of DowDuPont recently opened a new manufacturing facility in Burley, Idaho. The new facility will produce Styrofoam brand XPS insulation products with Bluedge polymeric flame retardant technology.

The company says the new 60,000 sq. ft. facility demonstrates its commitment to offer energy-efficient insulation solutions to its customer base, while also improving its ability to serve the Canadian and western U.S. building industry with about 100 variations of Sytrofoam insulation.
According to DowDuPont, Styrofoam brand XPS insulation provides energy efficiency through a more sustainable insulation solution for the building envelope.
