Dyson’s new Airblade Wash+Dry hand dryer uses up to 52% less water

The multi-functional design saves space in the washroom and reduces the problem of water dripping on the floor as users move from a hand washing area to a separate drying station, Dyson says.
Available in short, tall and wall variants, the dryer costs $34 per year to run, compared to its predecessor’s $48. Dyson Airblade hand dryers cost up to 76% less to run than other hand dryers, the company says. Finally, the new dryer uses up to 52% less water, as the water flow is 1.9 L/min, compared to its predecessor’s 4 L/min. The water only activates when a user’s hands are underneath.
