ELB Electronics introduces LED T8 direct replacement lamps

August 13, 2014 - ELB Electronics has introduced an LED T8 direct replacement lamp, which it says requires no re-wiring of the light fixture. 40-50% energy savings can be realized when replacing existing fluorescent T8 (32W) and T12 (32W and 40W) electronic and magnetic ballasted fixtures, it notes, adding that another 20-30% energy savings can be achieved when combined with a low ballast factor ballast or lighting control system. The unit is available in 2 ft, 3 ft, 4 ft and 5ft lengths with either a clear or frosted lens.
