ENEX08 (Energy Excellence 2008) is an innovative learning and networking conference and exhibition focused on World-Class Best Practices in Energy Management & Efficiency. The inaugural ENEX event is being held September 23 & 24, 2008 at Stage West Hotel & Conference Centre in Mississauga, Ontario.
ENEX08 will feature keynote speakers, expert presentations, ‘bear pit’ working sessions, case studies and a half-day of technical training on energy management, measurement and efficiency. This two-day event will welcome 100-200 key industry leaders and decision makers operating, managing and maintaining Canada’s small, medium and large manufacturing firms, as well as institutions and commercial business. Participants will include senior managers and owners, plant managers, engineers and maintenance managers; directors of engineering, operations, production and operations, as well as facility managers, technicians, purchasers, and anyone involved in controlling, monitoring or reducing energy usage and consumption in their facilities.
“Energy has been on the front burner for EMC members for some time and ENEX08 is a key component of our manufacturing initiative, said Al Diggins, President and General Manager of EMC. “This inaugural event is designed not only to teach participants about improvement opportunities, but also how to open the door to incredible networking and peer learning resources, as well as the strategies, programs and technologies that can be engaged to deliver significant energy cost savings and efficiencies.”
“The combined forces of both organizations will be actively marketing and promoting this event to our respective audiences, resulting in a mass media campaign to promote awareness and ensure this event is a big success for all parties,” says Frank Shoniker, publisher of Energy Management, Green Business and PEM Plant Engineering and Maintenance.
