October 29, 2020 – We live in a world of constant change and transformation.
The realms of IoT and intelligent building management are increasingly converging, especially as they relate to the way we manage building resources—not the least of which is energy.
Energy Manager Canada has been reporting on best practices and technologies for proactive energy management and energy efficiency in the built environment for 10+ years.
Its mandate now includes ever-increasing coverage of IoT tech for our places and spaces; technologies that, by the very nature of their cleverness, help us manage energy (of course!) but also occupancy, humidity, contact tracing … the realm of buildings IoT.
Buildings IoT Canada—a sister brand of Energy Manager Canada—has been reporting on IoT advances in the built environment for the past couple of years, and we’ve noticed a conspicuous overlap between the two.
Rather than continuing to exist independently of each other, we feel these two brands belong together.
Starting November 2020, Buildings IoT Canada will merge under the banner of Energy Manager Canada, where buildings IoT information will continue to flourish, especially against the backdrop of proactive energy management and energy efficiency.
