Give me your roof, says GreenSaver, and we’ll run your solar PV
June 07, 2011 - GreenSaver boasts it is “easier than ever” for Toronto residents to join the solar revolution: the GreenSaver solar model eliminates the need for homeowners to purchase solar PV panels for their homes, while also eliminating any permitting, installation or maintenance concerns.

GreenSaver will own and operate the system for 20 years, while providing either an upfront payment or a credit for home energy efficiency upgrade services to the homeowner. The GreenSaver program is made possible by financing provided by the Toronto Atmospheric Fund (TAF)—an arm’s length agency of the city with a mandate to help the city improve air quality and reduce its climate impact.
