Hubbell launches lighting upgrade program for auto dealerships
August 22, 2013 - Hubbell Lighting explains lighting is among an automotive dealership’s greatest expenses, accounting for more than 45% of a its energy costs. To help reduce that cost, Hubbell Lighting’s createchange initiative offers: 1) a suite of audit tools and other resources to help dealers forecast the economic impact of various lighting retrofit strategies; and 2) Compare in the Air, where Hubbell encourages customers to validate those estimates onsite at their showrooms, selecting and installing up to four company products, and monitoring the results for 90 days. (After the trial, customers can either keep the products or return them for a full refund.) The createchange program includes an evaluation of the dealer’s facilities, including vehicle inventory, customer parking, service areas, offices and signage. “The createchange program for dealerships is even more powerful when coupled with our Cash Flow Positive program,” said Scott Muse, president of Hubbell Lighting.
