July 8, 2019 – Dialight has launched the IntelliLED connected industrial lighting platform as a wireless controls system for applications in heavy-industrial facilities, to help users maximize energy efficiency.

The system adds industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) capabilities to Dialight’s Vigilant high-bay, low-bay and high-output high-bay LED fixtures. It can also integrate with existing automation interfaces.

Features include programmable dimming, which can adjust light output from 100% down to 5%, as needed; daylight harvesting and occupancy sensors to help save energy when lighting is not needed; and real-time monitoring to track electricity consumption, view fixtures’ status and enable proactive maintenance.

The IntelliLED system operates on a 2.4-GHz wireless mesh network. Its gateway controller accommodates up to 120 nodes, but it can also be scaled up to control up to 10,000 nodes in multiple facilities, using the IntelliLED Enterprise Server.
