June 21, 2021 – Intertape Polymer Group Inc.’s (IPG) facility in Truro, N.S., is the beneficiary of an $18,500 federal investment in an energy management information system (EMIS) to help reduce energy costs and improve energy efficiency.

The federal funding is provided by the Energy Efficiency for Industry Program, which offers financial assistance to help fund Canadian industrial facilities’ energy management projects.

IPG matched the federal contribution to the project, bringing the total to $37,000, NRCan reports.

The company develops, manufactures and sells a variety of paper and film-based, pressure-sensitive and water-activated tapes, shrink and stretch films, protective packaging, woven and non-woven products, and packaging machinery for industrial and retail use.
