Johns Manville celebrating EPDM manufacturing facility start-up
June 21, 2012 - Building product manufacturer Johns Manville, a Berkshire Hathaway company, is hosting a dedication ceremony tomorrow to commemorate its new commercial roofing single-ply membrane roofing facility in Milan, Ohio, which will manufacture EPDM (ethylene propylene diene monomer) roofing products.

JM chair, president & CEO Todd Raba will deliver remarks to key customers and local officials. In July 2011, Johns Manville announced its plans to renovate a former rubber manufacturing facility, creating a state-of-the-art operation capable of producing about 100 million sf of EPDM roofing membranes. The facility will employ about 75 people when fully staffed.
