Legend Power Systems hires Mike Cioce as VP of sales and marketing
February 28, 2019 – Vancouver-based Legend Power Systems, which develops SmartGate on-site energy management systems, has hired Mike Cioce (pictured) as vice-president (VP) of sales and marketing.

Cioce joins the company from Skaled, a sales consulting service provider of whom Legend was a client. He has more than 25 years’ experience in sales and marketing for a variety of organizations, including FedEx Office and Xerox.
“We are pleased a veteran such as Mike has chosen to take on the role of leading our sales and marketing efforts,” says Randy Buchamer, Legend’s CEO. “Being the senior sales consultant to the company for several months prior to his hire has uniquely positioned him to understand all aspects of our challenges, opportunities and potential for growth.”
Legend has also hired George Filtsos to join its Toronto-based sales team. He has 25 years’ experience in energy efficiency controls. He contributed to more than 2 million square feet of wireless projects in industrial and large commercial market segments for the building automation company Daintree Networks, which is now part of General Electric (GE).
