Lennox Environ Coil system now on Energence rooftop units up to 25 tons

April 5, 2013 - Lennox has expanded the availability of its Environ Coil System to 4-, 6-, 13-, 17.5- and 25-ton Energence rooftop unit models, completing the product lineup to 25 tons. The Environ Coil System will now come standard on Energence rooftop unit models, with the tube-and-fin condenser coil available as an option. According to Lennox, the all-aluminum Environ condenser coil offers a significant reduction in refrigerant charge requirements and uses up to 52% less refrigerant than a traditional tube-and-fin condenser coil, providing sustainable savings. The mounting configuration uses rubber inserts, which claims to provide vibration dampening to prevent damage during shipping, as well as isolation to protect against corrosion.
