“The addition of VRF systems to Lennox’s leadership rooftop product lineup enables Lennox to not only leverage strong engineering and technical support infrastructures, but also Lennox’s unique direct to contractor relationship and strength in national accounts,” said Terry Johnston, president LII North America Commercial Heating & Cooling.

Featuring variable-speed compressor technology, Lennox VRF systems will automatically vary compressor speed to match system demand, promising improved temperature control. Both heat recovery and heat pump VRF systems will be introduced in 2014, providing customers with cooling and heating when and where required, including simultaneous cooling and heating, adds the company.
