Broan-NuTone humidity-sensing wall control helps regulate energy use

May 28, 2014 - Broan-NuTone has introduced a humidity-sensing wall control (model 82W), which it says maximizes the performance of most Broan and NuTone ventilation fans by automatically detecting and controlling high levels of moisture. The updated control reacts faster than other models to provide the best air quality and comfort for users, says the company. Now, the wall control can sense a rapid rise in humidity levels and automatically turn on the fan until the level of humidity returns to a normal, healthy state. An LED light indicates when the fan is operating. The control automatically stops the fan after a user-adjustable time delay so it only operates when needed, which helps users conserve energy, adds Broan-NuTone.
