DewStop announces Condensation Sentry fan switch

January 2, 2013 - DewStop has designed a fan switch that monitors humidity and dew point levels in the bathroom and automatically switches the exhaust fan On or Off to adjust for condensation, helping to minimize damage to walls and lessen mold growth. As such, the DewStop Condensation Sentry claims to save homeowners in electricity expenses and lessening their carbon footprint. In addition, the switch includes a manual On/Off switch and a 30-minute timer. Intended for use in condensation problem areas of the home, such as near the shower or bath, the switch can be installed by replacing an existing fan switch.
