Lennox adds Environ coil system to Energence rooftop units

June 22, 2012 - Lennox claims its energy-efficient Energence rooftop units are now just got even more eco-friendly—with the addition of a new all-aluminum condenser coil that significantly reduces refrigerant charge requirements. The coil uses up to 45% less refrigerant than a traditional tube-and-fin condenser coil, and its all-aluminum construction offers a lighter unit weight, shaving approximately 90 lbs from a 10-ton rooftop unit. The Energy Star-qualified rooftop unit also exceed ASHRAE 90.1-2010 minimum standards by more than 35%.
