Exair digital flowmeters for monitoring compressed air use

June 12, 2017 - Exair’s new digital flowmeters with wireless capability use a Zigbee mesh network protocol to measure and monitor your compressed air use, trends and historical data.

Measuring compressed air is the first step toward identifying high compressed air use areas and leaks, and optimizing air use, says the company. Each meter has a range of 100 ft (30 m) and transmits data (128-bit encryption) to an ethernet gateway. Each meter ships with the wireless-to-ethernet gateway, power supplies and installation tools.

Meantime, EXAIRlogger software allows you to graph and aggregate data to identify air use trends, or use it with other analytic software. Airflow values are expressed in standard cfm or m3/h.

Digital flowmeters with wireless capability for schedule 40 iron pipe are now available in sizes ranging from 1/2 in. to 4 in., and can also be ordered for schedule 80, 10S or Type L copper pipe.
