New Energy Management Bypass option for Cerus P-Series VFDs

January 2, 2013 - Cerus Industrial has added an Energy Management Bypass option (EMB) to its P-Series line of variable frequency drives (VFDs). According to Cerus, the new option assures uninterruptible operation of customers’ HVAC systems, even if the drive is taken out of the loop for some reason, including reprogramming or maintenance operations. With integrated real-time ANSI grade power metering and BACnet communications, the EMB measures consumption in both VFD and Bypass mode to +/- 1%. Cerus P-Series VFDs are available in a range of packages from 1HP to 400HP.
