Mitsubishi Electric City Multi PWFY Hydronic Heat Exchanger Unit

November 2, 2011 - Mitsubishi Electric has introduced its new City Multi PWFY Hydronic Heat Exchanger, which functions in various modes to provide hot water up to 160ºF (approximately 71.1ºC), for applications such as commercial laundry services, industrial and residential kitchen spaces, or heating hotel pool water, it explains. The PWFY Hydronic Heat Exchanger unit is available in a 36,000 or 72,000 Btu/h capacities and operates in three modes – Heating (full temperature range), Heating ECO (supply temperature based on outdoor ambient) and Anti- freeze (maintains circulation to prevent pipe freeze), it says. According to the company, the unit is connectable to its VRF units, Water Source units and Hyper-Heating Inverter units, which will significantly increase the overall operating efficiency of the system when coupled with a heat recovery system.
