Navigant Research names market leaders in Building Energy Management Systems report

April 27, 2015 - Navigant Research’s recent Leaderboard Report of Building Energy Management Systems (BEMS) analyzed 14 companies’ BEMS offerings to rank the top 10 vendors.

These BEMS vendors were rated on ten criteria: vision, go-to-market strategy, partnership strategy, technology & solution portfolio, geographic coverage, user interface, breath/depth of applications, technology openness & interoperability, customer acquisition & partnerships, and scalability & staying power.

Schneider Electric said its StruxureWare software received top scores for strategy and execution in “providing actionable insights” to facility managers for reduced energy consumption and stronger return on investment.

According to Navigant, the BEMS market is “poised for significant growth in the coming years.” The organization forecasts that the global BEMS market will grow from $2.4 billion in 2014 to $5.6 billion in 2020.
