New book provides overview of Canada’s energy efficiency sector

The book profiles both existing and as-yet-untapped opportunities to save energy and money, while also reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, across Canada’s provinces and territories.

“The rapid development of effective technologies, together with energy-efficiency measures with proven profitability, shows us signs of great potential,” says Langlois. “We have tried to offer all Canadian market actors—and all international experts who are interested—an overview that provides a big-picture and in-depth look at energy efficiency and best practices.”

“Energy-efficiency measures are financially rewarding, with a return on investment (ROI) often higher than 10%,” adds Gauthier, “and sometimes at 20% to 30% or more.”

Published by Fairmount Press, the book can be ordered online.
