EnerQuality announces annual award winners
March 4, 2019 – EnerQuality, which certifies and labels Canadian residential properties for energy efficiency, handed out its 2018 EQ Awards last week, recognizing Ontario building companies and related organizations.

On Feb. 28, 250 attendees gathered at a Marriott hotel in Markham, Ont., to celebrate the winners and, at the same time, the 20th anniversary of EnerQuality, which recently expanded its programs with certification for multi-family high-rise buildings.
“It speaks volumes to see how our certifications, like Energy Star, have continued to remain relevant and grow in impact over the years,” says Corey McBurney, EnerQuality’s president.
Some of the year’s winners included: Mark Rosen of Building Energy, who received the Energy Advisor Award; AeroBarrier building envelope sealing technology, which won the Product Innovation Award; and Times Group, which took the Building Innovation Mid/High Rise Award.
