MaxLite hires Rick Schuett as SVP of business development
January 2, 2019 – Energy-efficient lamp and luminaire manufacturer MaxLite has hired Rick Schuett to serve in a newly created position as senior vice-president (SVP) of business development.

In this role, Schuett will be responsible for accelerating the company’s growth by focusing on new and underserved markets. He has more than 25 years’ experience in the lighting, building controls, Internet of Things (IoS) and Software as a Service (SaaS) industries. He has held senior leadership roles with Lutron, Echelon, Encelium, Autani and, most recently, Cimcon Lighting.
“Rick has a proven record of identifying and developing new sales channels and creating competitive advantages,” said MaxLite CEO Yon Sung. “We are pleased to welcome him on board.”
