Ontario organizations recognized in 2018 Energy Star Canada Participant Awards
June 12, 2018 — The winners of the 2018 Energy Star Canada Participant Awards were recently announced, including nine organizations and 40 buildings from Ontario.
The Energy Star Canada Participant Awards — now in their 15th year — recognize organizations that have demonstrated excellence in promoting the most energy-efficient products and new homes available in Canada. They represent utilities, manufacturers, retailers, associations and homebuilders that are helping Canadian consumers and businesses save money while addressing climate change.
Among the winners from Ontario are Samsung Electronics Canada (Manufacturer of the Year — Electronics), ecobee (Heating and Cooling Manufacturer of the Year), and Hydro One Remote Communities Inc. (Regional Utility of the Year).
