Schneider Electric displaying FIT-compliant solutions at Solar Canada 2010

Schneider Electric’s Renewable Energies Business is exhibiting a FIT-compliant grid tie inverter and a range of solutions at Solar Canada 2010, the Canadian Solar Industries Association (CanSIA) annual conference and exhibition on December 6 and 7. The Schneider Electric exhibit will be at Booth 403 in the Toronto Convention Centre, with product displays and Schneider Electric experts.

“With our plant in Mississauga, Schneider Electric is currently shipping FIT-compliant inverters for the Ontario market,” said Ted Campbell, Senior Vice President, Renewable Energies Business, Schneider Electric. “In addition, at Solar Canada 2010 we’ll show the range of solutions we provide our Canadian customers.”

During the conference, Rudy Wodrich, Commercial Vice President, Schneider Electric, will participate on the panel “What Is The Future of Manufacturing in Canada” on Tuesday, December 7. Two Schneider Electric workshops will take place on Wednesday, December 8:
•    Small Commercial and Three Phase Applications
•    Single Phase and Off-Grid Applications 

Included in the Schneider Electric exhibit at Solar Canada 2010 will be the Xantrex GT500 MVX grid tie solar inverter, a FIT-compliant product designed to interface directly with a medium voltage transformer for utility scale solar applications.
