OSEA wants to recognize Ontario’s Top 10 cleantech companies

August 19, 2022 – In conjunction with its annual Green Energy Doors Open event, the Ontario Sustainable Energy Association (OSEA) wants to recognize and celebrate Ontario’s Top 10 cleantech companies. The categories include:

• Carbon capture & storage
• Energy efficiency & grid firming
• Carbon-free technologies
• Energy storage
• Green buildings
• Renewable energy
• Smart buildings
• Sustainable finance
• Transportation
• Waste to energy

(N.B. A winner may be selected from out-of-province.)

Entries in each category will be judged against the following criteria:

Readiness for deployment and scale-up (i.e. beyond proof of concept stage)
Significantly improves the existing environment (e.g. reduces CO2 and other emissions, reduces waste and/or vastly improves the move to a circular economy).
• Potentially disruptive (having a possible positive impact on other industries).

Entering is simple: in 500 words, tell OSEA why your company should be considered a Top 10 cleantech company. Including relevant media links that support your candidacy.

Submissions are to be emailed to Dan Goldberger, OSEA chair, at dan@ontario-sea.org by noon ET, September 14, 2022.

The Top 10 will be asked to provide a 5-minute presentation at OSEA’s Green Energy Doors Open on October 27.
