Ouellet acquires heat tracing solution provider Delta-Therm

September 7, 2021 – Ouellet Group Inc. (L’Islet, Que.) has acquired Delta-Therm, a manufacturer of heat tracing solutions based in the United States.

Delta-Therm will continue to operate under the leadership of Tom Slagis and his team as a stand-alone subsidiary, says Ouellet. The company’s products will continue to be distributed from Delta-Therm’s current premises in Chicago, Ill.

“Leveraging our combined strengths, this acquisition allows us to create one of the most dynamic companies in our field in North America,” says Ouellet. “Demand for efficient heating and air-conditioning products is growing strongly, and the Ouellet Group with Delta-Therm has all the tools required to continue to grow in our respective markets.”

The Ouellet Group owns Ouellet Canada, Dettson Industries, Hazloc Heaters, Britech and Innovair, plus a manufacturing plant in China.

These companies sell heating and air-conditioning products under the Ouellet, Dettson, Hazloc, ACD, Britech, Gree, Momento, Nortron, Global Commander, Innovair and Convectair brands.
