Plant-wide electrical installation assessment

Schneider Electric’s new MP4 plant wide electrical assessment evaluates an existing electrical network and identifies key components that could trigger high risk events at critical points in your process. The end result is a set of four different plans, specifying ways to optimize operating costs, prioritize capital investments, increase safety, and improve equipment/system reliability.

The Management Plan outlines recommendations targeting the safety of employees working on the equipment, services contracts, critical spare parts management, data to be handled by information systems and trial access to data on Schneider Electric’s expert system.

Targeting critical equipment, the Monitoring Plan provides:

  • Recommendations to prevent device failures;
  • A predictive approach for the maintenance plan, targeting critical components that require management and monitoring to prevent failures;
  • Energy quality and availability indicators;
  • Opportunities for energy savings in the various solutions to be deployed.
The Modernisation Plan analyzes equipment at the end of its lifecycle. It recommends available retrofit solutions, steps to improve installation performance and suggestions on how to adapt installations to meet business requirements.

The Maintenance Plan describes the maintenance to be performed and its frequency. It also gives stress dependability levels of critical devices, and outlines a maintenance scheduling strategy.
