January 27, 2016 - Royal Philips says it has advanced the dimmable LED bulb beyond just dimming, to become a “mood-enhancing” light bulb that changes colour. New Philips LED WarmGlow progresses from a warm yellow, white light—similar to an incandescent light bulb, Philips says—to a warmer reddish, white light that’s similar to a sunset.
January 21, 2016 - The ML1, ML2 modulinear luminaires are a new family from Jesco Lighting Group of aimable, dimmable recessed ceiling fixtures, with one to four LED modules. ML1 incorporates a single 20W high-output, two-step MacAdam COB (chip-on-board) LED, Jesco says, and ML2 has a single 15W COB. Both models offer a range of narrow, medium and wide beam angles.

December 31, 2015 - Universal Lighting Technologies has announced its new Everline Slimline2 high-density and low-density LED modules, available for use in Class 2 lighting systems. They provide application flexibility with varying length options, the company says, and maximum lumen outputs, while the low-density modules have the same physical configurations but provide lower lumen options.
December 31, 2015 - BabyLED is the “shallowest recessed LED downlight housing in the world,” says USAI Lighting. Measuring less than 3-in. tall, BabyLED delivers over 1150 lumens and 64 lumens per watt in a variety of white colour temperatures, all from a 3-in. aperture.
