Schneider Uniflair LE HDCV 4500 and 5000 cooling units for large data centres

September 24, 2014 - Schneider Electric has expanded its Uniflair LE cooling unit portfolio with the HDCV 4500 and 5000 models, which it says addresses the needs of data centres where higher cooling capacities and optimized efficiency are required. Intended for large data centres—primarily cloud and colocation facilities—the new Uniflair LE models utilize a newly designed coil system and under-floor fan module promising 20% higher cooling capacity, while drawing less power. Now available with a 575V input power option for Canadian users, additional features include a 7-in. touchsceen display; integrated serial card for integration to BMS using Modbus protocol; and five air discharge configurations.
