Siemens energy indicator software integrated in OZW772 and OZW672 servers

July 30, 2012 - The Siemens Building Technologies’ energy indicator software can be used to check the energy-efficient operation of HVAC plants, components and individual rooms. The tool also makes it possible to adapt the operating parameters of the plants and rooms manually over the internet. With the software, room and plant operators can very identify settings in their equipment that are not conducive to efficient energy consumption. Room users can change the plant settings and adapt them to their personal comfort levels. At regular intervals, the energy indicator lets them know whether the selected parameters are energy efficient; meantime, operators can receive an e-mail notice when a plant is not operating energy efficiently. The software is integrated into the OZW772 and OZW672 web servers, v. 4 and higher, and can be used with all communications-enabled standard controllers from Siemens that have a KNX or LPB communications bus, including the Synco and Synco-living systems, several Sigmagyr and Albatros 2 models, as well as a number of room controllers and room thermostats.
