Sika Corp., Industry Products Division, establishes FFI Business Unit for North American market
Sika Corporation, Industry Products Division, is now establishing a FFI Business Unit to better serve the needs of customers in the North American Facades, Fenestration and Insulating Glass marketplace. This action follows the announced acquisition of May National in October 2010. The new unit has a dedicated sales force specific to the market segments and will operate from Lakewood, N.J.

Scott Henry, senior vice-president, Sika Industry Products, will head the unit, and Doug Walker, vice president, Sales and Marketing, will report directly to him.
“The establishment of the FFI business unit provides solid ground for continued growth in this arena,” said Walker, who brings more than 33 years of industry experience to the role. “It also indicates strong commitment by Sika to establish North American supply and expertise to augment the Sika Engineered Silicones business in Europe.”
The Industry Division of Sika Corporation is headquartered in Madison Heights, Mich. The company is a supplier of adhesives and sealants serving automotive aftermarket, automotive OES, industrial, marine, and transportation markets. Product lines include polyurethane adhesives and sealants, hot melt adhesives, epoxies, acrylics, silicones and butyl sealants. Specific applications for Sika adhesives and sealants are found in the appliance, automotive glass replacement, automotive OES, fenestration, HVAC, marine, metal building, and transportation industries.
