March 6, 2021 – Nova Scotia is investing $19 million in rebates to support low-income families in making their homes “more comfortable and energy-efficient” while also helping them to buy electric vehicles.
“Electric vehicles, more comfortable homes, healthier communities and careers in renewable energy and efficiency will help our province and the planet,” said Premier Iain Rankin.
Half of the $19 million is slated for the HomeWarming and Affordable Multi-Family Housing energy efficiency programs to help an additional 1200 low-income Nova Scotians.
